It is very helpful, however: 1) wouldn't it make sense to describe in more detail why the oci dev team has made this security measure of image to shape compatibility that you're hacking/bypassing in this way? Eventually/ e.g.if your kernel is too old / you'll be running into issue just overriding this, won't you? 2) it is a bit annoying that the oci team did not make an easier process available here. Wouldn't it be better to implement kind of a compatibility checking script and allow that script to modify shape compatibility in place? So that we don't have to go through the process shown for the 2nd and 3rd migration? This is especially true given the raising importance of updates with the e4 shortage in some regions... That would also be handy if the instance is e.g. a BaseDB But nevertheless: the video is extremely helpful! Regards Johannes

I put a lot of effort to use them in my program and they are devastating on some loads with CPUs that supports AVX512. My concern is that I'll need to rewrite everything for API changes when the APIs will exit the incubator state. I have some "development questions" on those APIs, are there a mailing list where to discuss about the use and the benefit of those APIs?
